Bobby Lambert & the Dukes, featuring Ahmad Murad Bin Sulaiman, Zainal Abidin Bin Sulaiman, Richard Young and Zainal Abidin Bin Akib. Their first record release included titles like First Bend In The River, Rave On, False Alarm and Day Dream, the last two being instrumentals.Subsequent releases included Lonesome Town, Empty Heartaches, Thinking About You and Trying To Get To You, Selina, Rhumba De Havana. A compilation of most of their recordings were relased on CD some years back.
Vern, the compilation CD was not released for commerical purpose. I understand it was produced by a member of The Dukes and its a complimentary gift for their friends and business associates. By chance, I managed to secure a copy. Besides Bobby Lambert & The Dukes, others who recorded with them were also included in the compilation, names like Stevie Lorraine, Eliz & Marilyn and Winston Walters. A really good catch of 60s followers.
